1- stupid tax - if you don't know the rules, then you pay the stupid tax.
ie. Speeding then get to pay the ticket.
2- In google key words, most of the time people bidding on key generic terms are paying stupid tax. Probably is not profitable for them. Not Public relations he uses ???media?? On main "category generic" term could pay dollars , buy dozens hundreds of keywords related to market

Use one that costs - not a lot -wordtracker.com a different search tool - looks at searches on web - 8 weeks - gives a number of different things, plural, singular, synonyms

Overture syndicates - both do this - everyone who has an open bid shows up or only see a certain number of these ads. On Overture need to bid high - so skip generic (popular)
Google has someone who looks at ad and approves it. Else you get rejected.
Make sure traffic is good before spend the big bucks
